Going Australia : Boom! Happy New Year!
This is the last leg of tour of Australia. Melbourne! We went around Melbourne, yes the place where many of my friends had choosen to immigrate to and spent the rest of their lives in.
A beautiful place! Melbourne is good! A city bursting with commercial activities, and yet able to retain its charm and a very australian flavour.
Melbourne is a place that seems to packed everything into one spot. City life, shopping arcades, endless streets of restaurants, hotels, living spaces, natural landscape on the outskirts, etc etc.
Me and my wife, we tried the famous vietnamese beef noodles at downtown Melborne.
Shopped around, bought quite a couple of items.
We went on a tour to the famous Great Ocean Road. Beautifully scenic place. Those houses by the side of the side of the road looked so cute. I want one badly. I can use it as a sort of retreat, for hiding or getting away from the hectic city life.
We had our lunch at a small town along the coastal road. The famous Fish and Chips. Good.
We came back to the city just in time to watch the fireworks at the city center. The firework event was by itself, a showcase of the population living in the city. We were so amazing to see so many Asian, or a good mix of different races, from all over Melborne converging on the city center train station.
